Tomorrow Will Come Back

I always used to spend my life, thinkin’ of another day,
It was all in front of me, somehow I thought I’d find the way;
But now I’ve got to find new Worlds to see,
So tomorrow will come back to me.

What’s done is done, it’s in the past, you’ll never make it just lookin’ back,
And just the present’s not enough, the fun is lookin’ down the track;
The only way to face reality, ya gotta feel
Tomorrow will come back to me.

So now the joke comes out at last,
The dream is real, but made of glass;
And once it’s shattered, all ya have
Is past and present---Ahhh, what a laugh!

So I may reach into my past, and then confront the here and now,
But I’ll only choose the many things, that have kept me smilin’ anyhow;
And you can bet, if I will only see---
That tomorrow will come back to me---

And you can bet, if I will only see---
That tomorrow will come back to me.
